Welcome to the latest research blog (ResBlog) from The Patients Voice which explores the impact of deep vein thrombosis (and any other type of thrombosis) on the lives of patients.
Many people who have had deep vein thrombosis (it can be 60%), go on to suffer from what is called “post thrombotic syndrome”. The symptoms, while occurring in the calf, may vary but can include pain, discomfort, swelling, and rashes. In some more serious cases patient may suffer from leg ulcers.
We are interested in the views of people who have had thrombosis and who may or may not have suffered from post thrombotic syndrome.
