Hypertension, commonly referred to as High Blood Pressure, is a medical condition where a person’s blood pressure is significantly elevated. Persistent hypertension can be risk factors for strokes, heart attacks, heart failure and arterial aneurysm, chronic renal failure. If a person who has moderate elevated blood pressure is not monitored, it can shorten their life expectancy. Malignant hypertension (or accelerated hypertension) is quite distinct, and usually presents with constant migraines, blurred vision, unexplained fatigue, dizzy spells, tinnitus, and in significant, chronic cases renal organ damage.
