The Patients Voice is inviting parents of children with ADHD, though it's sometimes called Attention Deficit Disorder [ADD]), to participate in a new survey which takes place in two waves during 2009.
The purpose of the study is to find out the opinions and feelings of parents whose children suffer from ADHD. It is planned that the study will provide information which will eventually improve the lives of children with ADHD. As this project is an important one it is worth bearing in mind that it has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee.
Each wave of the survey is 50 minutes in length with three separate questionnaires per wave and will be sent to you in the mail. This means that you will be able to complete the questionnaire at your own time at home. We are offering an incentive of £30 per survey wave to thank you for your time and effort. However if you complete both waves we would be delighted to offer you £35 for the second wave giving you a total of £65. These rewards will be sent after the completion of each wave of the research.
The qualifications for participation are very simple:-
a) You have a child who has been diagnosed with ADHD aged between 13-17
b) You are resident in the UK
There are two ways you can volunteer to participate
a) You can click on the button on the right hand of this page to join The Patients Voice. If you choose to do so you will become eligible to be rewarded for many more projects.
b) Send an email to Belinda.shale@healthcarelandscape.com giving your name and postal address and she will send you a copy of the survey or more information about the project. Please put ADHD 2009 in the subject line for easy reference.
